RUSSELL HENRY WOODWARD On Wednesday September 22nd my dearest husband Russell passed away due to many years of Dementia and finally Covid. Russell was very involved with Whitton Utd. Football Club and was made President, his love of football was seeing youngsters play and some getting to professional status. After retirement as General Manager at Roadline UK Ipswich, he joined the Citizens Advice Bureau as a voluntary adviser and did so for 10 years. He also was involved with inspecting care homes for the council. He will be greatly missed by family and friends. Russell s funeral will be on Wednesday October 20th at 2.00 p.m., at St. Mary and St. Botolph Church, followed by private burial at the Lawn Cemetery, and afterwards at Henley Road Sports Club.
