JOAN PHYLLIS MARY VICE nee Shaw Born in Tottenham, London, on August 2nd, 1924, passed away peacefully, with her family present, in Witnesham Nursing Home, on August 2nd, 2021, her 97th birthday. Land Army veteran, 2nd World War, avid gardener, master of the knitting needle and crochet hook, seamstress and dressmaker. Beloved mother of Lorraine and Peter, devoted grandmother to Emma, Laura and Rufus, great grandmother to Rex, Ben and Grace. A long life well lived. Never to be forgotten. There will be a private cremation with a Memorial Service to be arranged at a future date.
