DINAH CATHERINE COOK (07 JAN 1936-18 JAN 2021) – AGE 85 YEARS It is with great sadness Kevin, David, Susan & Malcolm announce the passing of their beloved Mother Dinah. She passed in peace during the early hours of the 18 Jan 2021 at the family home in Ipswich. Dinah formerly from Frampton Road Ipswich, was born to George & Hilda Cook along with her siblings; George, Marjorie, Reggie, Gordon and Pam. She was an “Ipswich Girl” born and bred epitomizing the outstanding attributes of Suffolk people. Having experienced WWII and all the hardships that entails she was the strongest advocate of; family, friends and country, During her life she worked at; The Gaumont Picture House, Tolly Cobbold Breweries, The Golf Hotel and for many years at Ipswich Hospital fondly known as “Cooky”, where she loved to serve the patients food and made many life-long friends and associates. She leaves behind her Brother Gordon, Sister Pam, her children; Kevin, David, Susan & Malcolm and step son Michael. Grand Children; Matthew, Lauren, Charlotte, Tom, Joseph, Faith, Francesca, Jenson and Great Grandson Jacob along with all her nieces, nephews and friends. “Mum, you are our guiding light, our conscience and our vision of who we want to become – RIP now with the angels for today Heaven is a richer place because youre are amongst Gods chosen” we love you!
