19/11/1932 - 05/01/2021. Sadly passed away on January 5th, aged 88 at Ipswich Hospital, following a fall at home. Husband to Sheila, father to Alison, Pamela and Graham, grandfather and great-grandfather. He was much loved and will be greatly missed by his family and friends. Ron will be known to many as minister of Maidstone Road Baptist Church in Walton, Felixstowe from 1975 until 1989 and for his support for Baptist churches across the county, Churches Together in Felixstowe and the twinning of Felixstowe with Wesel and Salzwesel. He continued to enjoy chess, crosswords, reading and languages until the end, despite deteriorating physical health. Given current restrictions, the funeral will be immediate family only, a service of thanksgiving will be held later in the year. Donations to the Baptist Missionary Society in memory of Ron may be made via Co-op Funeralcare or at www.ronaldrivers.muchloved.com where messages, memories, thoughts and photos may also be shared.
