Hawes Gene Kathleen, widow of Peter, a wonderful and loving mum of Janis and Christine, Mother-in-law of Andrew and John, adored grandma to Adam, Luke, Paula, Sophie and Ben and great grandma to Fern. Died peacefully on March 14, at St Elizabeth Hospice. There will be a private committal service attended by immediate family only at Seven Hills Crematorium, Nacton. No flowers please but donations are welcome to St Elizabeth Hospice, Foxhall Road, Ipswich. The family would particularly like to thank St Elizabeth Hospice, Marie Curie Nurses and Dr Feltwell for the care given to Gene and to Clive Stammers for the help and friendship given to Gene over many years.
