Sage Jean Emmie Metcalfe ‘nee Clark’. Passed away peacefully at St. Mary’s Care Home, Holbrook, on August 17, aged 101. Beloved wife to the late Francis. Loving mum to Geraldine and Olive, mother-in-law to Keith and Steve, wonderful granny and great-granny. Jean will be sadly missed by all who knew her. A celebration of Jean’s life will follow a private Cremation and will be held at All Saints Church, Holbrook, on Thursday, September 12, at 12.30 p.m. Jean’s family have requested a splash of colour to be worn. Family flowers only please, with donations if desired made payable to ‘Holbrook and Shotley Practice’ or ‘Holbrook PCC’, may be sent c/o. East of England Co-operative Funeral Service, 213 High Street, Walton, Felixstowe, Suffolk, IP11 9BQ.
