BENFIELD IAN MICHAEL Aged 84 years. Passed away peacefully in his sleep on December 17, 2018 at Mill Lane Nursing Home, Felixstowe, after a debilitating two year fight against vascular dementia. Widower of Euphemia McAllister 1997 and Mary Elizabeth 2013. Beloved father to Anne, Guy and Jane. Grandfather to seven and great grandfather to six. The family would like to thank the carers and nursing staff at both Foxgrove and Mill Lane Nursing Homes in Felixstowe for keeping him safe and comfortable in his final years. Funeral service to take place Ipswich Crematorium Chapel, Cemetery Lane, on Friday, January 18, at 1.15 p.m. Family flowers only please. Donations to Dementia UK c/o.
