JOAN POTTER (nee BARKER) was HOWLETT Joan passed away suddenly on December 9 at Papworth Hospital with her family by her side. She was a dearly loved auntie of Stephen, Jane, Mark, Thomas, Daniel and Pippa, step-mum of Trudie and Adrian and nana of Grace and Lily. Joan will also be missed by many other people as she led a very active life – doing voluntary work every day. Funeral service to be held at Old Cemetery Church on Thursday, January 10, 2019, at 11 a.m., followed by interment at The Lawn Cemetery. Floral tributes may be sent to East of England Co-operative Chapel of Rest, 32 Boss Hall Road, Ipswich, IP1 5BN. Donations, if desired, made payable to Colchester and Ipswich Hospital Charity (Somersham Ward) may be sent c/o. East of England Co-operative Funeral Services, 283 Norwich Road, Ipswich, IP1 4BP.
