Cony Rita June. Passed away peacefully with her daughter Sharon Cony by her side at St. Elizabeth Hospice on November 2, 2018 aged 87 years. The children from Rita’s first marriage were Michael, David, and Steven Montgomery, and also daughter Susan Perry who all attended to her during her final weeks and days together. Rita was a beloved big sister to Julie Trent (USA) Miriam Alcock (Canada) and Susan Boreham (UK). To us all, she was a determined woman, a gardener extraordinaire, a world traveller when in better health, but most of all our mum, our childrens nan and our grandchildrens great grandmother. Her humour, wisdom, love and smile will be greatly missed. Funeral Service to take place on November 15, at Horley Spiritualist Church, Ipswich at 2.00 p.m. followed by a private family committal at Ipswich Cemetery at 3.00 p.m., those celebrating Ritas life are invited to wear her favourite colour Royal Blue.
