IRENE ELIZABETH CHILDS Passed away peacefully after a long illness, at Cedrus House Care Home, Stowmarket, on 3rd August, 2024, aged 94 years. Wife to the late Fred, mother to Graham, Brian and Neville, grandmother and great-grandmother. Funeral service to be held at Ipswich Crematorium on Thursday 12th September, 2024, at 10.45 a.m. By Irene's request, no flowers please. Donations in her memory may be sent directly to the British Heart Foundation, 180 Hampstead Road, London, NW1 7AW.

IRENE - We were so lucky to have known you; a loving, caring lady who had a heartful of gold; love and laughter you would spread to those that knew you; in the tearooms, at the tea-dances and A lady that would become my dads companion and my "fairy godmother " Nothing was too much to ask of you Irene when it came to dad and my baby daughter you were there. Thank you for giving my dad and us those memories that I will cherish forever .
