DUNNETT PETER Remembering a special husband, dad, grandad and great grandad, on this your 85th birthday. As I whisper Happy Birthday, The tears begin to flow, Just how much I miss you, No one will ever know, For life is not the same, Since the day we had to part, Ive thought about you constantly, And wished with all my heart, That I could have you back again, If only for a day, To let you know you always meant, Far more than words can say. But a million tears wont bring you back, I know because Ive cried, And neither will a million prayers, I know because Ive tried. Yet I still have the memories, Of your much loved kind face, And just one consolation, That you are in a better place. Love and miss you always.
