A serving Suffolk police officer has been sentenced for careless driving after a crash in an unmarked car in Norfolk.
PC David Taylor, who is 43 and based at Martlesham police headquarters, appeared before Great Yarmouth Magistrates' Court on Thursday.
He pleaded guilty to driving without due care and attention following an incident on January 17 this year.
PC Taylor was travelling from Martlesham to Hethersett in an unmarked police pool car when he collided with another vehicle on the A1088 at Fakenham Magna.
No one was seriously hurt in the collision.
PC Taylor was fined £200, and ordered to pay costs of £105, and a victim surcharge of £34.
He also received six penalty points on his driving licence.
