Signs have gone up as work starts on constructing a new coffee shop near Ipswich town centre.
Arkana Coffee is set to open in a vacant unit at the top of Northgate Street, opposite the Halberd Inn pub.
A planning application for a pavement licence has been submitted to Ipswich Borough Council.
The work comes after The Grape Escape, a wine merchant, opened in an adjacent unit earlier this year.
Arkana Coffee is set to be the latest cafe to open in and around Ipswich town centre in the last year.
This includes Encore Coffee House in The Hope Centre, as well as Moments inside the Town Hall.
