A number of temporary traffic lights have been put in place across key routes in Ipswich.

Here is a list of roads which will have temporary traffic lights this week.

Princes Street 

Four-way traffic lights will be in place at the junction of Princes Street and Burrell Road from January 3 for 10 working days. 

According to Suffolk Highways, the work will involve the installation of a new surface water drainage pipe, gullies, and new kerbs/drainage blocks. 

It is hoped that the work will resolve the history of highway flooding along the stretch of road. 

Foxhall Road

Traffic lights will be put in place in Foxhall Road close to Back Hamlet between Tuesday and Wednesday.

Bramford Lane 

Temporary lights will be in place until December 9 on Bramford Lane.

Woodbridge Road

Anglian water will be carrying out essential works in Woodbridge Road between Tuesday and Wednesday. 

Anglesea Road

Between Tuesday and Friday temporary traffic lights will in place in Anglesea Road.

Ranelagh Road

Multi-way signals will be in place in Ranelagh Road between Tuesday and January 21.  

Highfield Road

Cadent is carrying out works between January 5 and January 18 which means two-way traffic lights will be in place. 

Felixstowe Road 

Two-way traffic lights will be in place in Felixstowe Road close to Studio Flex between Tuesday and Thursday. 

Elmcroft Road

Multi-way signals will be in place on Elmcroft Road between Tuesday and January 13 while Cadent carries out works. 

Bixley Road

Suffolk County Council will be carrying out roadworks in Bixley Road on Wednesday which will see temporary traffic lights in place between 10.30am and 3.30pm. 

Murray Road

Openreach will be carrying out roadworks between Wednesday and Thursday so multi-way traffic lights will be in place. 

Cauldwell Hall Road 

Two-way traffic lights will be in place in Cauldwell Hall Road while Anglian Water carry out essential works between Wednesday and Friday. 

Rushmere Road

Between Thursday and Friday, Openreach will be carrying out essential works on Rushmere Road. 

Neale Street

Multi-way traffic lights will be in place between Neale Street between Wednesday and Friday.
