In Suffolk, journeys will be impacted by roadworks once again.

This coming week, drivers may have to plan their journeys around several different closures across the county.

Here are just seven roadworks you might need to know about and all the information to go with them.

Church Lane, Claydon

From Thursday, January 26 to Friday, January 27, Church Lane and Rede Lane in Claydon will be closed as Anglian Water carries out work.

The closure will be in place from The Crown pub until the junction with Henley Road.

Horsecroft Road, Bury St Edmunds

From Monday to Wednesday, Horsecroft Road, near West Suffolk Hospital, will be closed.

Anglian Water will be carrying out repair work in the road and it will be open to access vehicles only.

Gosbeck Road, Helmingham

From Helmingham, through Gosbeck and to Hemingstone, Gosbeck Road will be closed.

The closure will be in place from Monday to Wednesday.

Borley Road, Sudbury

Beginning on Sunday, January 22 and clearing on Tuesday, work in Borley Road, Sudbury means the B1064 will be access only, stretching beyond Long Melford.

Additionally, Borley Road will also be 'access only' through Foxearth, Pentow and to Cavendish.

Foxhall Road, Ipswich

In Foxhall Road, there will be temporary two-way traffic signals on Tuesday and Wednesday between the junctions with Faraday Road and Alan Road.

According to One Network, this work, carried out by Anglian Water, is "likely" to cause delays.

Hollesley Road, Butley to Hollesley

Near the coast, the road from Butley to Hollesley, which leads through Butley Abbey and Capel St Andrew, will be closed overnight.

The closure will be in place between 7pm and 6am from Tuesday to Thursday this week.

A14, Woolpit to Stowmarket

From January 25 to February 1, the A14 will be closed overnight between Woolpit and Stowmarket.

The closure will be in place between 9pm and 6am each night.
