An online fundraiser for the funeral of a mum from Ipswich has hit its £7,000 target.
Francesca Cross, 37, died suddenly on April 26 after suffering a burst aneurysm on the brain, leading to a subarachnoid haemorrhage.
In a heartfelt tribute, long-time partner Ben Cook described Miss Cross, who was mum to 13-year-old Jessica, as someone who "lived every day as if it was her last".
Mr Cook launched a GoFundMe page in a bid to raise funds for his partner's funeral, which is being held at Ipswich Crematorium on Wednesday.
The fundraising goal was set at £7,000 and was boosted by a mystery £2,000 donation from an anonymous backer.
It has now exceeded its target and the total sat at just under £7,500 by midday on Tuesday.
Thanking everyone who had donated to the page, Mr Cook said previously: "I will be forever grateful for this.
"I would just love to be able to speak to everyone who donated and to be able to share our memories of Francesca.
"It is so nice to know that she touched so many lives."
