Roadworks will once again be causing disruption for the county's drivers in the coming week.

As work on the A14 continues in mid Suffolk, here are seven other roadworks that motorists will want to plan their journeys around this week...

1. Bury Road, Bury St Edmunds

In the latest set of work between Bury St Edmunds and Little Saxham, there will be emergency roadworks in Bury Road on May 23 between 10am and 3pm.

The road will be closed while Suffolk County Council carries out work.

2. A14, Claydon to Ipswich

From 9pm on May 22 to 5am on May 23, the eastbound carriageway of the A14 will be closed between Claydon and Bramford.

The westbound carriageway will remain open while National Highways completes the work.

Clopton Road, between Tuddenham St Martin and Grundisburgh, is set to close from 8am on May 22.

It will remain closed until 4pm on June 9.

It will reopen on June 2 after Suffolk County Council completes streetworks.

5. Henslow Road, Ipswich

This is so Cadent can carry out gas work in the road which sits between Freehold Road and Foxhall Road.

It will be shut from 9am on May 22 before reopening at 3.30pm on May 24.
