A grateful Hadleigh family has donated £11,000 to Ipswich Hospital in memory of their beloved mother and wife's four-year cancer battle.
Rita Hoyle passed away in November and was supported throughout her illness by the staff at the Woolverstone Unit at Ipswich Hospital.
During her treatment, she delivered pastries to the staff to thank them for their care and tireless hard work.
The Hadleigh-based family said Mrs Hoyle loved to support local businesses and one of her favourite clothes shops, Kitty & Em, recently held a fun day and raffle to raise money for Ipswich Hospital.
Mrs Hoyle's husband, David, said the family were "blown away" by the support they had received.
Pauline McKeown, oncology outpatient sister, said: "We are very grateful to David and his fundraisers for their ongoing support.

"Thanks to their donations, we have been able to fund weekly Pilates sessions in the day unit for all staff.
"We will also be able to offer enhanced training and education that uplifts our teams to benefit our patients and the care they receive."
