Ipswich is home to a number of great pubs but a prestigious guide has picked out the best.
The Campaign for Real Ale (CAMRA) has published its 2024 Good Beer Guide.
The guide is compiled by thousands of independent volunteers.
The guide showcases the best pubs in the country, with 71 boozers in Suffolk including eight in Ipswich featuring in the 51st edition.
A full list of the Ipswich pubs included in the list is as follows:
- Arbor House
- Dove Street Inn
- Duke of York
- Fat Cat
- Lord Nelson
- Spread Eagle
- Steamboat Tavern
- The Woolpack
CAMRA chairman Nik Antona said: “The last few years have been an incredibly difficult time for the industry, and we need more support than ever before to keep our nation’s pubs and breweries open and thriving.
"I’d encourage everyone to use this year’s guide to visit the very best pubs and breweries across the UK and support them for generations to come.”
