Traffic is continuing to build in Ipswich after the A14 Orwell Bridge closed with the arrival of Storm Isha.
A yellow weather warning for winds up to 70mph is in place until midday tomorrow.
National Highways closed the Orwell Bridge at 12pm for safety reasons and traffic is being diverted through Ipswich.
UPDATE: Orwell Bridge reopens ahead of schedule
The bridge will be closed until midday on Monday.
There are already severe delays in the area.
On the A14 westbound traffic is queuing back to J58 for the A12 with queues also forming in the eastbound direction coming up to J56 for Wherstead.
There are long delays on Wherstead Road heading towards Ipswich town centre as well as delays coming from Copdock Mill along the A1214.
It is possible delays could increase later into the day.
What is the diversion route?
The eastbound diversion will take traffic from the A14 at junction 55 Copdock Mill onto the A1214 through Ipswich before taking the second exit at Woodbridge Road roundabout onto the A1189 to Felixstowe Road.
This continues onto the A1156 before re-joining the eastbound A14 and junction 58 for Levington.
The westbound diversion will take the same route in reverse.
