Buses will replace trains for part of the journey between East Anglia and London every weekend in February because of maintenance work at the London end of the line.
There will be bus links to Newbury Park tube station every weekend in February - from Ingatestone on the first two weekends and from Witham for the second two.
Work includes repairing overhead cables and a signal gantry and repairing ballast under the track in south Essex.
Jamie Burles, Greater Anglia managing director, said: “This work is extremely important to help maintain the safe and reliable running of the railway and make it fit for the future.
"A rail replacement service will run while the work takes place and passengers are advised to check before they travel and allow more time for their journey.
"We would like to thank customers for their patience and understanding while it is carried out.”
