A man has suffered life-threatening injuries after falling from a bridge onto the A14.
The incident happened on the bridge at the Copdock interchange near Ipswich at 3.25pm today.
Having suffered "life-threatening" injuries from the fall, he was taken by air ambulance to Addenbrooke's Hospital in Cambridge.
The major road was closed between J56 at Wherstead and J54 while emergency services attended the incident.

The road was closed in both directions for over two hours before it was completely reopened at 5.50pm.
This was the second incident on the road within 6 hours after a broken-down vehicle caused delays on the same section.
Police have now begun appealing for witnesses as they investigate the matter.
