The Orwell Bridge will be closed this month for planned maintenance works.
National Highways have warned drivers that the bridge will be closed from Wednesday, May 22, to Friday, May 24, between 9pm and 7am.

The closure will take place in order for planned inspections and maintenance repairs to be carried out.
An inspection will be carried out overnight by a team of professional surveyors on behalf of National Highways and they will assess the safety of the bridge.
