An Ipswich school have been rated good by Ofsted as they continue to push for outstanding results.
Westbridge Academy, in London Road, offers education to children and young people in Key Stage 4, who are at risk of exclusion or or need additional support from their school.
Ofsted carried out its latest inspection at the school in April and kept the school's long-standing track record of 'good' ratings.
The report said that education is “precisely” designed to meet the needs of the students.
Adding that its good rating largely concerns how staff and teachers take time to listen to the pupils and understand how they can cater to their needs.
The report said: "Pupils said they join the school as a ‘nobody’ but leave as a ‘somebody’, as they rediscover their identity, experiencing daily success.
“Pupils receive an education that is precisely designed to meet their needs. Their aspirations are raised to no end.”
Westbridge Academy's head teacher, Emily Duque said: “It is a great privilege to work alongside such a skilled and passionate teachers and support staff not just at Westbridge but across the Raedwald Trust.
“As the Ofsted report rightly notes, our team are uniquely dedicated to supporting, motivating and engaging our young people.”
The academy is a part of Raedwald Trust, whose CEO Angela Ransby believes that a part of the trust's ethos is to ensure that they can recruit the most dedicated and talented staff to teach children.
She said: “As this Ofsted report rightly points out, this is vital work, crucial to the development chances of these young people.
“When you get it right like it so clearly has been here at Westbridge Academy, the transformation is truly life-changing.”
