The Ipswich Half Marathon is back for the third year running and some road closures will take place.

Following a very successful two years, the Larking Gowen half marathon will begin on Sunday, September 22 at 9.30am from Portman Road, and the last runner is expected to finish at 13.15pm.

Runners will follow a selected route, leading them to run past the iconic Ipswich Waterfront, Holywells Park and the River Orwell.

Road closures begin an hour before the event begins but parking closures should be expected from 6pm on the Saturday before until 1.30pm on the Sunday.
