A thanksgiving service has been held to mark the 50th anniversary of Ipswich Amnesty.
After the service held at the Unitarian Church, the mayor of Ipswich councillor Elavalakan planted a celebratory rose and plaque.
Key figures including Paulette Reed and Tessa Forsdike, representatives from the Unitarian Church, and Jenny Brabazon, from Amnesty, joined members of the congregation for the ceremony.
The Ipswich Amnesty group was established at the church in July 1974.
