A man was injured during an aggravated burglary inside and Ipswich home.
Officers from Suffolk police were called to Haslemere Drive in the town shortly after 1.40am on Wednesday.
It followed reports the occupants of the property awoke to find two male suspects in their bedrooms who were carrying knives.
The suspects were masked and dressed in black.

Following an altercation, a male occupant suffered an injury, a police spokesman confirmed.
Witnesses to the incident reported four police cars and an ambulance attended the scene.
Officers from Suffolk police are conducting enquiries into the aggravated burglary.
