Signs have gone up in the town centre for a new takeaway restaurant which specialises in fried chicken.
Ipswich Chicken Way signage has been spotted in Tacket Street in the town centre.
The takeaway restaurant states it will sell fried chicken, burgers and extras including wraps.
The shop is to open in the former Avesta café and restaurant next to Shamrock pub.
Avesta opened in July last year, but the premises has been closed for the last few weeks with white sheets on the inside of the windows to block out work inside.
Ipswich Chicken Way joins a number of takeaways in the area that already operate including Sam Kebab and Best Kebab Centre.
An opening date for the new takeaway and restaurant is still to be announced.
