The A14 at Orwell Bridge was closed after an incident.
Police were called to the A14 near Wherstead, just outside of Ipswich, at 1.10pm on Wednesday (July 24) to reports of an incident.
Police say the eastbound carriage was initially closed and then both carriageways were closed following further police presence.
The road has now been reopened and traffic is flowing normally.
