A 49-year-old Ipswich man faces a trial after pleading not guilty to attempting to meet a child for sex.
Before Ipswich Crown Court on Monday (July 29) for a plea and trial preparation hearing was Giles Croucher of Grove Lane, Ipswich.
He pleaded not guilty to attempting to engage in sexual communication with a girl under 16 for the purpose of sexual gratification between May 21 and June 28 this year.

He also denied attempting to cause or incite a 14-year-old girl to engage in sexual activity and attempting to arrange the commission of a child sex offence in Grays, Essex.
Croucher's trial, which is expected to last three or four days, will take get underway on December 16.
A pre-trial review will take place on December 12.
