Fire crews were called out after reports of thick black smoke in Ipswich.
Three appliances from Princes Street and Felixstowe were sent to Anglia Parkway North, off Bury Road, just before 5.30pm on Friday.
The smoke is believed to have come from an electrical box.
Emergency services, including from Suffolk Fire and Rescue Service, remained on scene until they received their stop message at around 7.30pm.
