The trial of an Ipswich man accused of being in possession of a knife in Christchurch Park last month is due to take place later this year.
Before Ipswich Crown Court on Thursday ( August 29) for a plea and trial preparation hearing was Keith McKenzie, 48, of Bond Street, Ipswich.
He pleaded not guilty to being in possession of a knife in Christchurch Park, Ipswich, on July 29 and being in possession of a pair of scissors in Ipswich town centre in July.
McKenzie’s trial is expected to take place during a two week warned list commencing November 25 this year.
A pre-trial review will take place on November 20.
Judge David Wilson refused a bail application and remanded McKenzie in custody.
