Scuba diving, outdoor cooking, retro gaming are among the activities being offered when a new "Man Crèche" launches next week.
Ipswich Greyfriars Round Table are behind the plans which are aimed at getting men aged 18 to 45 together for a social evening, starting from September 2.
A spokesperson said that like the Saturday Night Live sketch "Man Park" the crèche will offer men a chance a place where they can make new friends and enjoy an evening full of street food and beers.
A spokesperson for the event, known only as "super nanny", said: "People of Ipswich, I'm going to ask you to do something for me.
"Look to your left, then to your right, is there a young lad in your house aged 18-45 that's looking bored out of his skull knowing that Celebs Go Dating is on again tonight?
"Then get him out to your very own Man Crèche which is open again on September 2 right here in the town."
The crèche will open with events like a Post A Piano Through A Post Box and will be held weekly.
The Round Table is organised by a group of men who are looking to give back to society and have been making strides in mental and physical well-being in town for several years
They are also looking to expand this effort and introduce the Ladies Circle Great Britain and Ireland Club in Ipswich.
Events will be held at different locations, with those interested asked to keep an eye on the Ipswich Greyfriars Roundtable Facebook page.
