Hubs that were labelled as "street clutter" will be installed throughout Ipswich after a successful appeal.
The three communication hubs, which feature life-saving equipment, were initially rejected by Ipswich Borough Council over their look and risk they could cause a "distracting effect".
This decision was made in April this year, but following an appeal to the planning inspector by the applicant In Focus Network and JCDecaux, the hubs will go ahead.
The locations for the new hubs will be on Civic Drive, Old Cattle Market and Carr Street opposite Ipswich Bazaar.
All three hubs will be equipped with a defibrillator and an advertisement display.
They will be slim in design and on the opposite side of the advertisement display, there will be a telephone, as well as free Wi-Fi and devise charging.
The decisions were overturned after finding that the hubs would "not have a harmful effect on the character and appearance" of the areas.
Before installation, the applicants must submit a management plan for the operation of the hubs to ensure its safe operation and mitigate the risk of anti-social behaviour.
