A primary school near Ipswich is celebrating after being rated 'good' by education watchdog Ofsted, leading it to be one of the last schools in the county to receive a one-word grading.
Bucklesham Primary School was rated in July before the end of the school year by inspectors from Ofsted.
They were judged to be a 'good' school once again, with inspectors describing it as a "small, caring school" which has a "big vision for children's lives".
Pupils were seen as "happy and safe" and they like attending school.
Leaders of the school recently constructed a new curriculum which was found to be "more ambitious", carefully selecting the knowledge pupils learn.
The school was also praised for phonics and reading, stating that "older pupils re-tell stories and discuss the books they read" with one another.
Headteacher Rachael Rudge said that 100% of the parents surveyed during the inspection said that their child was happy at school, and that parents regularly recommend the school to other parents.
Miss Rudge said: "I am delighted that parents, children and staff are all really happy here.
"This report celebrates all of the improvements to our school and the ambitious curriculum that we have implemented over the last few years, and reflects the hard work and dedication of the staff team and the governors who go above and beyond every day, to support each child and family."
Inspectors also found that pupils appreciate the range of clubs and extra-curricular activities on offer, competing in sporting and academic challenges.
They said the early years curriculum "provides a firm foundation for future learning" and "children quickly gain language and grasp understanding of the world around them".
Plans have recently been confirmed to drop one-word ratings from Ofsted.
