Drivers in Suffolk are being warned of delays this week as four abnormal loads make their way across the A14.
The four abnormal loads start on Wednesday and continue on until Friday on both the A14 and A12.
From 9am on Wednesday one of the vehicles will travel from Hemel Hempstead to Sizewell C and another from the A47 to Sizewell TA.
The route of one of the loads will be A12 Essex Border, A14, A12, B1122, Lover’s Lane, then local roads to Site.
The other load route will be A14 Cambs border, A11, A47, A146, A143, A146, A1145, A12, B1122, Lovers Lane to the site.
Then on Thursday at 9am a vehicle will travel from Hemel Hempstead to Sizewell C.
It will take the route: A12 Essex Border, A14, A12, B1122, Lover’s Lane and then local roads to Site.
On Friday the last load will travel from Hemel Hempstead to Sizewell C, also at 9am.
The last route will be A12 Essex Border, A14, A12, B1122, Lover’s Lane, local Roads to the site.
