A classic book about Ipswich's most famous son, Thomas Wolsey, written in the 19th century, is coming back into print.

Hilaire Belloc's history, Wolsey, is now back in print via Mysterium Press in a re-typeset premium-quality hardback edition.

Wolsey profiles the Ipswich-born Cardinal who might have stopped the Reformation but in the end was unable to do so.

According to Belloc, his intelligence and industry were matched by his ambition and myopia, and his inability to comprehend the innermost thoughts of his boss, Henry VIII proved fatal.
