Young performers are counting down the days until they take to the stage in their production of a hit musical.

Students from One Sixth Form College are hard at work rehearsing for A Chorus Line (A Teen Edition), which will be performed later this month.

The show tells the story of 17 performers who audition for the chance to perform on Broadway and features hit songs What I Did For Love, At the Ballet, and I Hope I Get It.

The story was a successful 1985 film directed by Richard Attenborough starring Michael Douglas.

It follows the college's successful production of Rock of Ages which was performed last autumn.

The production will be performed at the Ipswich college from November 20 to 22.

Rudy Hendin, 17, from Ipswich who is playing the character Zach said; "We are one month into rehearsals and it’s all coming together nicely. I’ve previously been in Legally Blonde and Hairspray – but this is my biggest role to date.
