Facetime, a cake and celebrations have filled the home of an Ipswich family overjoyed their miracle baby has turned one.
Magnolia Day Partlow weighed 600g when she was born on November 15 last year at only 23 weeks and five days.
She arrived almost four months early and spent the first 111 days of her life under specialist care at hospitals up and down the country.
Her mum, Sophie Partlow said "Everyone is telling you the odds, there is only a 14% chance she will make it and even if she does make it there is a 50% chance that she might have some learning delays or neurological issues."
But at her one year check up, Mrs Partlow said; "She is doing great.
"The doctor said that he'd never know she was born at 23 weeks."
Magnolia's birthday comes two days before World Prematurity Day, on Sunday, November 17 to raise awareness for miracle babies and offer support for parents.
