A prisoner who absconded from Hollesley Bay open prison while on temporary leave has been located by police.

Duane Osler, 35 and who is serving a four years and eight weeks sentence for grievous bodily harm, was granted a few hours temporary leave from the prison on Thursday but failed to return to a rendezvous point in Ipswich at 2pm that day.

Osler was arrested in Stevenage yesterday afternoon, Saturday, June 2, by Hertfordshire Police.

He will now be returned to the prison system.
