Excitement is building in an Ipswich street home to a range of independent traders as a popular Christmas market returns at the end of the month.
The annual St Peter's Street Winter Market is being held between 10am and 4pm on Sunday, November 27.
Cathy Frost, who owns gift store Loveone and helps organise the market, revealed dozens of businesses had been booked to set up stalls at the event.
She said most of the shops and cafés in the street would be open on the day to cater for the huge crowds that are expected on the day.
Hundreds of shoppers braved the cold for last November's market, which was the first to be held since the Covid pandemic.
Ms Frost said: "We have about 37 stalls booked at the moment, which is about as many as we will be able to squeeze in.
"There will be some familiar faces, as well some new ones. A lot of the businesses in St Peter's Street will be open on the day.
"Baylham House Rare Breeds Farm will also be back with their animals – they were very popular last year.
"It's full steam ahead now. We have come out of Covid restrictions, though last year people were still a bit worried. We hope it will be back to normal this year.
"We're anticipating huge crowds and we're just hoping people shop local and support local. It's exciting in the run-up to Christmas and we just hope we can bring people with us on that journey."
