Ipswich's late night shopping and Christmas light switch on will return next week as organisers reveal the full extent of festive plans for the town.
An ice rink and winter markets are among the events Ipswich Central and Ipswich Borough Council has announced for the town this Christmas.
The festive season for the town will begin with the Christmas lights switch-on on Thursday, November 17 at 6.45pm, with a real 50ft Christmas Tree going up on the Cornhill for the fifth year in a row.
November 17 will also mark the first late night shopping Thursday.
Then, into December, on Sunday 4, a winter artisan and producer market will take place, made up of produce from Suffolk farmers, with a Christmas twist.
Between December 8-15, an Ice Rink will be set up on the Cornhill and will be free for everyone.
There will also be street performances throughout the run-up to Christmas from Ipswich-based theatre company Eastern Angles, local performers Dance House Dance, and choirs including Stella Acapella.
Chris Barnard from Ipswich Central said: "It's great to see so many fun, family activities this Christmas in the Town Centre, especially in light of the difficult times we've experienced in the last few years.
"We hope that people can enjoy these free events and bring some Christmas cheer to the town."
