A man has been airlifted to Addenbrooke's Hospital after a crash in a major Ipswich road.
Emergency services were called to the crash involving two vehicles at about 8am on Wednesday.
A spokeswoman for Suffolk police confirmed that a man sustained serious injuries and was taken to Addenbrooke's Hospital by air ambulance, and a woman was also taken to Addenbrooke's with a hip injury.
A road closure remains in place while officers carry out investigations.
Officers would like to hear from any witnesses to the collision and are also asking for anyone who was driving along Dobbs Lane, Bell Lane or Foxhall Road in Ipswich at around 8am - in either direction - to get in contact.
