A whole host of events have been announced for the town centre to mark the coronation of King Charles III.
Ipswich Borough Council has announced their plans on how they will mark the historic occasion.
Ipswich Cornhill will host a day of celebrations on May 6, with a big screen in place for people to meet and watch the coronation, with coverage starting at 10am.
There will also be free face painting available between 11am and 4pm, and well as food stalls.
At 2pm, following the broadcast of the coronation, the big screen will show the 2022 film, Roald Dahl's Matilda the Musical.
Bunting will also be hung around the Town Hall and the Cornhill.
On May 7, the celebrations continue in the town, with the live streaming of the Windsor Castle Coronation Concert, which will be accompanied by a fully licenced bar.
An Ipswich Borough Council spokesperson said: "We are thrilled to support community events over the special May bank holiday weekend to celebrate the coronation of King Charles III.
"We are encouraging the community to get involved with our events, but we’re also inviting the public to hold events in their neighbourhood to bring everyone together for the celebrations."
