About £5,000 worth of tools were stolen from a vehicle parked at the Suffolk Show last week.
Officers are appealing for witnesses after a Nissan Navara pick-up truck was broken into between 8am and 8pm on the first day of the show last Wednesday.
The incident took place in the Bucklesham Road car park.
The owner of the vehicle, who was working at the show, returned to their vehicle to find the rear boot door lock mechanism had been damaged.
It is believed about £5,000 of power tools and hand tools were stolen.
