An outline planning application has been submitted to build six new homes in a village on the Shotley peninsula south of Ipswich.
Six new homes are being proposed to be built in Shotley, just to the south of Gate Farm Road.
Road access would be created, with at least one parking space per house, according to documents visible on Babergh District Council's online planning portal.
It is not specified how many bedrooms each of the houses will have as yet, but they will fit in with other houses in the area, being two-storey and bungalows.
Along with the houses being built, the application states more benefits it would bring, along with Swift bricks, hedgehog-friendly fencing and solar energy.
There will also be electric vehicle charging points installed on the site.
The application states: "The proposal is a wholly deliverable prospect, making effective use of land, without undue harms.
"The scheme is robustly supported at a local and national level offering a sustainable scheme which is heavily aligned to local and national planning policies."
Babergh's planning committee will consider the proposals.
