A lane was closed on the A14 due to a broken down lorry.

The road was shut between junction 56 for Wherstead and junction 57 for Ipswich as a lorry had run out of fuel.

Suffolk police were in attendance and recovery had been arranged.

National Highways East said there was a 20 minute delay with three miles of congestion.

The road has now reopened and a 20 minute delays remains in the area but this should start to ease.
