A Christmas shopping event held at a historic Ipswich venue saw a record attendance for its 15th and final time.
The Wherstead Christmas Shopping Event at Wherstead Park near Ipswich was a huge success, with 6,500 people attending between Friday to Sunday.
This was the final Christmas shopping event held at Wherstead Park, after announcing in July that it will no longer host events from 2024 onwards.
Jonathan Senior, organiser of the event, said: "As this was our last ever Christmas Shopping Event, we wanted to make it bigger and better than ever, and with thousands that turned up to show us their support, we knew it was most definitely mission accomplished.
"The whole events team has worked so hard putting this show together since the beginning of this year.
"The weather certainly didn't deter the crowds of people who attended the show and shopped till their hearts were content."
Over 1,000 cups of mulled wine were served over the weekend, with guests also enjoying music from The Funky Voices choir and Pop Chorus choir, who performed Christmas classics, and Christina Johnston who performed from the atrium balcony for those attending.
Various Suffolk food vendors were also in attendance, filling the courtyard of the mansion, including Mobile Pizza Company, Wagyu Burgers, Kitty's Bakes and The Tea Pod.
Mr Senior continued: "We look forward to our sold-out Christmas party nights in late November and December."
