Controversial plans for 24 new homes to be built in a village south of Ipswich are set to be discussed next week, with refusal of the scheme recommended.
An outline planning application was sent to Babergh District Council to build two dozen homes, including eight of which would be affordable, on land east of Capel Road in Bentley.
Public areas would also be created as part of the plans.
The plans were met with concern from some residents, with 13 letters, emails and online comments being sent, 11 objecting.
Most were concerned that it would increase traffic in the area, with concerns also raised around noise pollution, loss of privacy and a poor existing provision of public transport.
The plans are to be discussed by Babergh's planners on Wednesday, November 29.
