An outdoor fitness company has been given the go-ahead to continue its classes, despite a series of objections from neighbours.
Field Fit, an outdoor fitness group located in Wherstead near Ipswich, has been granted permission to continue the use of land they are on for classes and other outdoor activities.
Field Fit has been located on the land, next to the River Orwell, since 2018 and has been successful venture since then.
Babergh District Council approved the application provided conditions were followed, including operating times and noise restrictions.
The application was met with objections, with one resident who lives near the field stating that they have had to talk to the owner of Field Fit due to the "very loud" music that is sometimes played, and the electric beep that goes off every 10 seconds being too loud.
As such, Babergh council specified that no equipment for the amplification of sound, including electric beeps and music shall be operated from the site at any time.
There were also concerns with some of the obstacles obstructing views due to the height.
